COPPA – Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

Primary Vision limits the collection, processing, and transfer of personal data to that which is reasonably necessary to provide our service.

Primary Vision abide by strict GDPR EU guidelines in regard to handling EU citizens’ data to better safeguard the processing and movement of citizens’ personal data. Primary Vision strictly follows the GDPR Data Protection Principles outlined below;

Data Care Act of 2023 covers:

Data Care Act 2023 authorizes the Federal Trade Commission and specified state officials to take enforcement actions with respect to breaches of such duties.

Consumer Data Privacy and Security Act of 2021 & 2023

Establishes standards for the collection of personal data, including prohibiting us from collecting such data without consent from the individual except as reasonably necessary for certain permissible purposes. Ensures we publish our privacy policy; implement data security programs to safeguard such data; and provide individuals with reasonable access to, and control of, their collected data.

As of July 2024, Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act, and Texas' Data Privacy and Security Act will take effect. On October 1, 2024, Montana's Consumer Data Privacy Act.

Effective on May 13, 2024 the FTC amended the Gramm Leach Bliley Act's Safeguard Rule requiring to notify the FTC within 30 days of discovering a data breach.

California resident Users: The California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) as well as other states Consumer Data Protection Act.

• Inferences drawn from any of the information identified in this subdivision to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, preferences, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities and aptitudes.

2023 States Acts: Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
